Beware: Snow Can Cause Giggling

Tonight, on my way home from the grocery store, the snow started.

And I thought I would dread it, when the snowflakes that the weathermen have been promoting for days now finally began to fall.

But I loved it.

With Christmas tunes playing on my iPod, looking up at the snow in the streetlights, I smiled and couldn't help but giggle.

Bring on the snow, I say!

(Check back tomorrow night when I'm sure to be cursing the grey/black icy/slushy mess.)

O Christmas Bush!

This year the roommates and I are doing the Christmas thing, complete with a tree and possibly even a mulled wine holiday gathering next weekend!

The three of us (boy roommate, girl roommate and myself) set the tree up tonight. (After Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy of course.) The tree came to us by way of girl roommate's parents. They were in town visiting and brought us a tree from a tree farm in Massachusetts. The tree, or "Baby" as girl roommate refers to it, is about 5 feet tall. And kinda stocky. Definitely on the smaller side of Christmas trees. It looked a little funny.

Did I mention that we have 12-foot ceilings?

Yeah, it looks a lot funny.

It doesn't help things that we had just one string of lights, so only the top half of the tree is dressed in lights!
